Setting goals in every aspect of your life and at all stages

Goals motivated us as children. When learning how to do something new such as riding a book to finishing an assignment by a certain day. We set goals or had dreams when we were younger so why not now and in all parts of our life.

For parenting, it is good to have some goals or dreams that we should set. For example, one of my parenting goals is to make sure I teach my children to be financially smart. These goals we may not write down but everyday we work towards these goals when teaching our children.

For homeschooling, having yearly goals can help us stay on track to where we want our kids at the end of the year. Some examples of goals could be finishing the curriculum before moving on to the next one or reading a list of books by the end of the school year. These goals help us keep track of our progress and what we each year of homeschooling.

As adults that may work outside the home, we may have goals at work. If we own our own business, then we have goals for the business. Those goals help us keep track of our progress within work or the business. The goals help us figure out any training that we may need to take or if we need to take our business to the next level and seek advice.

This next area may get forgotten. We should be setting personal goals for ourselves as well. Whether that be a weight goal, education goal or a medical goal. These goals help us grow and can help our health, physical and mental. We forget about our personal goals as we focus on all the other areas of our life. These goals though can help us achieve the goals in the other areas of our life.

I challenge you to go through the many areas of your life and make sure you have at least one goal in each and that includes your personal goals. It may help to break the goal up in baby steps. The only way to not reach a goal is to not set a goal. Once you set a goal, then you are on the right track to reaching that goal. #goalsetting #visionboards #parenting #work #homeschooling #personal
